Heroes “Company Man”

Oh my, is it me or did Heroes rock last night with the “Company Man” episode?  I thoroughly enjoyed getting a glimpse of Claire’s father’s past and I think they did a good job of tying together some of the characters.  However, my favorite part was the end where Claire goes with the Haitan.  I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Claire.  My hope is that at some point we get to see the Heroes team up and pick good and evil sides.  We’ll see!

Mayor Daley Wins Election! Surprised?

Well, I just saw the article pop up in my Google Reader.  It appears as if Mayor Daley has been re-elected as mayor of Chicago.  He will break his fathers record in 2010 for the longest serving mayor in Chicago history.  I got this news and picture from CBS 2 Chicago’s web site.  I happen to like Mayor Daley and I am glad he won and I was not surprised by this news at all.  So if there are any Chicagoans that would like to make any comments, please do!

Clipmarks, yet another useful site!!!

I found yet another useful site with stumpleupon (http://www.stumbleupon.com/). Clipmarks is a great way to save and share little clips of web pages. It features the ability to submit your new clipmarks to all the popular social bookmarking sites. Although Netscape isn’t one of them…I think they need to add it. You can also pop other people’s clipmarks which is a feature similiar to Digg’s or Netscape’s voting for stories. You can pop clipmarks to get them viewed more. Freedom Of Zpeech!

Zpeech is a great website that I found. It allows you to make comments or make conversation on any web page. When you sign up, you can add the bookmarklet to your browser and then just click it to add a comment. Social Annotation Rocks With Diigo!!!

I was stumbling (http://www.stumbleupon.com/) on the internet the other day and I came across Diigo. This very useful site allows you to highlight and write notes on your favorite web sites. You can also share them with other users. I tried Fleck (http://www.fleck.com/) out a few months ago but it just didn’t stick with me. Diigo has a lot more features including the ability to make your notes private. I think the possibilities are endless with Diigo. Google Desktop 5 vs. Serence Klipfolio 4

Today, I happened to run across an article on Betanews.com about the new Serence Klipfolio and its new features.  I decided to download it to see if would be superior to my Google Desktop.  Before today I used to keep my Google Gadgets on my desktop where they are hidden.  When I downloaded Klipfolio, I realized how nice it is to see everything up front on a sidebar.  However, I found it confusing to arrange my Klips the way I wanted them on the sidebar.  So I immediately moved my Google Gadgets into the sidebar in Google Desktop.  What I found is that Google Desktop is easy to arrange and very easy to find more Gadgets to put in.  After today’s little experiment I now have a Google sidebar fully loaded with all my favorite Gadgets, which by the way is also a better alternative to the Windows Vista sidebar.  I am running Windows XP right now but I think I will use Google Desktop instead of the Windows sidebar when I finally upgrade.  In summary, Google Desktop is the best sidebar program out there and the best widget providor.  I highly recommend downloading it now!

Don’t Create A Music Blog, Create A MOG!!

My next technical topic is about MOG.com.  I have been using this awesome site for all my music blogging needs.  It’s awesome!  Not only do you get a page when you sign up but you get MOG-O-MATIC.  MOG-O-MATIC, when you download it, uploads all your listening habits and stats and puts it right on your MOG, your page.  This feature is similiar to Last.fm but in my opinion the blogging feature is more advanced.  You can upload mp3’s and pic’s to your mog.  I highly recommend this very addicting site that keeps you wanting more.  Check out my MOG at http://mog.com/smanofsteel76 and drop me a comment or feel free to comment here.  Enjoy!
